Condition surveys are used by our clients to determine the amount of capital investment needed to maintain an estate over a period of time. The survey can be far ranging, it can identify buildings to be demolished, refurbishment works needed and selective cyclical maintenance works etc.

We are experienced in surveying estates in excess of a thousand buildings. To do this, we have developed skills in data capture that enable our clients to receive the surveys findings in a data base format. Through careful capturing of data, a maintenance model is constructed to find the most cost effective method of estate management.

This type of work greatly complements our consulting services. Clients often complain that the use of their property has developed in an unstructured manner. Fragmentized use is normal. However, when an organization reaches a certain critical mass, the use of the property can have a great effect on  efficiency. By combining building surveys and building usage, the estate can be de-fragmentized. From this analysis, development plans can be prepared showing best solutions against investment costs.
